Anne Fornier, founder of the Volcano Active Foundation, interviewed about the Palma Eruption in Canaries Islands
“The discourse of the scientists on La Palma has not been sincere. They have not spoken clearly to the population, perhaps for fear of being wrong and being trapped in their own words”, Anne points out.
She is convinced that “decisions in disaster areas have to be taken by government agencies, but the diagnosis, management, analysis and knowledge of the scenario in which we find ourselves must be open to independent scientists“.
