VOLCANO ACTIVE FOUNDATION, founded by Anne Fornier, is an international foundation that seeks to mitigate volcanic hazards and improve the quality of life of people living near volcanoes in the world’s most disadvantaged areas.
The foundation is the only one in the world working for this cause.
It was in November 2018 that Anne Fornier, a French woman living in Barcelona, created VOLCANO ACTIVE FOUNDATION. This foundation, unique in the world, sets up systems to reduce volcanic risks and improve living conditions in volcanic areas.
