Yesterday, we had the opportunity to turn into reality one of those dreams that change your life and make you leave everything to dedicate yourself with passion to what you believe in. Finally, Volcano School was up and running.
Looking at the almost 200 children who accompanied us and seeing reflected in their faces the same passion for volcanoes that moves all of us who are part of the foundation, was well worth the effort.
We shared a whole day with them, starting early in the morning, which took us from Barcelona to La Garrotxa, where most of them experienced for the first time the emotion of feeling close to a volcano.
That first approach, moreover, was by the hand of the children of Olot, who know closely the reality of volcanoes, so seeing them share so much wisdom deeply moved all of us who were there.
The world belongs to the children, they are leading the whole movement for climate change and days like yesterday’s give us wings to continue our work.
