Ludovic Leduc became passionate about volcanoes the day he thought he heard magma by sticking his ear to the bottom of a crater in the Chaîne des Puys at 8 years old. It led him to geology and volcanology studies and on some active volcanoes.
Then, the need to experience eruptions took him to La Réunion Island. He first worked for La Cité du Volcan as scientific mediator and then, he created his company Objectif Volcans. He develops educational routes on Piton de la Fournaise and guide tourists, always with the desire to bring knowledge to these grandiose landscapes.

He returned to France in 2017 and tried to diversify. He created an educational DVD on Piton de la Fournaise eruptions, for the general public and SVT teachers. He also coordinates the writing of the geological guide of La Réunion (Omnisciences Edition) and will publish this year a new book on Piton de la Fournaise for La Cité du Volcan. Besides some articles for European Volcanological Association, he also organizes a scientific trip on Sicily volcanoes and develops scientific conferences for educational establishments.
